Distributed Proofreaders is a web-based interface and an international community of volunteers who help converting Public Domain books into e-books. For this exhibition they proofread the Mundaneum publications that appeared before 1923, and are in the Public Domain in the US. All those books are uploaded onto the [http://www.gutenberg.org/ Project Gutenberg archive].

Distributed Proofreaders is a web-based interface and an international community of volunteers who help converting public domain books into e-books. For this exhibition they proofread the Mundaneum publications that appeared before 1923 and are in the public domain in the US. Their collaboration meant a great relief for the members of Algolit. Less documents to clean up!
